Welcome to Elite Motorworks Ltd. These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the use of our mobile mechanic services in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and surrounding areas. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Elite Motorworks Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides mobile vehicle diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and restoration for all makes and models, including high-performance and classic vehicles. This Agreement is legally binding and governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Services Provided

We offer mobile and workshop services, including diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, pre-purchase inspections, restoration, and parts sourcing. Availability may vary based on location, vehicle type, and feasibility.

2.2 Booking Appointments

All services must be pre-scheduled and confirmed electronically or in writing. We reserve the right to decline service requests for safety, regulatory, or logistical reasons.

2.3 Estimates

Estimates are based on your description of the issue and may be revised after diagnostics or if unforeseen issues arise.

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Accurate Information

Clients must provide accurate vehicle details, disclose known issues, and approve cost estimates prior to work commencing.

3.2 Safe and Accessible Work Location

The service location must be safe, accessible, and compliant with local regulations.

3.3 Payment Obligations

Full payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise. Accepted methods: bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

4.1 Client-Initiated Changes

Cancellations or reschedules must be made 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur up to 50% of the estimated cost.

4.2 Company-Initiated Changes

We may reschedule due to weather, safety, or parts unavailability and will inform you promptly to rebook at a mutually convenient time.

5. Warranty and Liability

5.1 Warranty

We provide a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on parts and labour supplied directly by Elite Motorworks Ltd. Claims may require vehicle inspection.

5.2 Exclusions

Warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, third-party parts, or client modifications.

5.3 Client-Supplied Parts

No warranty applies to client-supplied parts.

5.4 Liability Limitation

Our liability is limited to the service cost. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.

6. Additional Costs

6.1 Travel Costs

Services beyond 20 miles from GL51 0PT incur £2 per mile.

6.2 Collection and Delivery

Vehicle collection/delivery is from £2.25 per mile. Clients must ensure adequate insurance during transport.

7. Service Guarantees

We commit to completing all work to the highest standard. Any issues will be corrected at no extra charge or partially refunded, as agreed.

8. Payment Terms

8.1 Prepayments

Services or parts exceeding £500 may require prepayment.

8.2 Progress Payments

Long-term repairs or restoration projects may require monthly progress payments.

8.3 Late Payments

Balances unpaid after 30 days incur 8% interest + Bank of England base rate, calculated daily, plus an £85 administration fee.

9. Payment Plans

9.1 Interest-Free Instalments

We offer 0% interest finance through Payment Assist, allowing you to spread the cost of repairs over 3, 4, or 6 months. There are no hidden fees or interest charges.

9.2 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Be a UK resident

  • Have a valid UK-based debit card

9.3 How It Works

The total balance is divided into equal monthly payments, which are automatically collected from your debit card.

10. Data Privacy

10.1 Data Collection

We collect personal data (name, contact info, vehicle details) solely for service provision.

10.2 Data Security

We comply with GDPR and will not share information without consent unless required by law.

11. Marketing and Media

11.1 Photos and Videos

We may use images/videos of serviced vehicles for marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.

11.2 Logo Usage

With approval, your logo or brand name may be used in promotional materials.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Complaints

Contact us within 7 days of service for concerns. We aim to resolve disputes amicably.

12.2 Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled in UK courts.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the Agreement with written notice if obligations are not met.
